BIOGRAPHY
Marcus Rushing, MD, MPH, MS is part of the Employer Service team located on the second floor of Falcon Health Center providing occupational medicine services.
Dr. Rushing has clinical experience in full-spectrum family medicine, clinical pathology and occupational and environmental medicine. He has significant experience in biomedical research as well as extensive teaching and mentorship experience at the primary, collegiate and post-graduate level.
His scholarly interests include work place & laboratory safety, medical resource utilization, quality and process improvement and One Health initiatives.
Dr. Rushing’s medical practice is characterized by compassionate service and a commitment to diagnostic accuracy. He loves spending time with his family and he is an avid NBA fan and aspiring author. Dr. Rushing has lived and worked in the Midwest his entire career. He moved to Ohio to join a phenomenal team of workplace health experts at Independence Health, a partnership of Wood County Hospital and The Toledo Clinic. In his new role, he looks forward to the opportunity to continue to provide exceptional patient care and participate in community-building activities in Northwest Ohio.

The Center serves the entire surrounding community as well as the BGSU faculty, staff and students.
