OUR SERVICES
At Falcon Health Center, we provide high-quality, comprehensive care to Bowling Green State University (BGSU) students, faculty and staff and the greater Wood County community. Our experienced team includes board-certified physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses and medical assistants. We also collaborate closely with Wood County Hospital for access to specialty and emergency services.

ALLERGY SERVICES
We offer ongoing support for patients receiving allergy injections on the first floor at Falcon Health Center. Walk-in or nurse appointments are available Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Our team can also coordinate care with outside allergists.
CHIROPRACTIC AND ACUPUNCTURE
Natural healing options including chiropractic adjustments and acupuncture treatments are available to support injury recovery, relieve pain and restore function. Learn more about this service.
LABORATORY AND RADIOLOGY SERVICES
Our Wood County Hospital CLIA-certified lab and imaging services offer immediate diagnostic testing at Falcon Health Center during appointments as well as walk-in services with a provider’s order. Many routine lab results can be processed on-site. Results may be obtained through My Health Records.
MENTAL HEALTH AND PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICES
We support pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients with evaluation and treatment for concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD and more. A psychologist is on staff and psychiatric medication management is available. Learn more about this service.
For Students: We collaborate with BGSU Counseling Services to provide integrated mental health support tailored to student needs.
NUTRITION COUNSELING
Our registered dietitian provides education and care for a variety of nutrition concerns including diabetes, eating disorders, high cholesterol and weight management. Find out more about our nutrition services.
OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH
Through Independence Health Employer Services, we offer pre-employment and DOT physicals, drug and alcohol screenings, injury care and wellness programs. On-site nurses and employer-specific services are available.
PHARMACY
Our full-service retail pharmacy is open to patients and the public. Services include prescription refills, over-the-counter medications, drive-thru pickup and vaccination services.
PHYSICAL THERAPY
Personalized rehabilitation plans are available for post-injury or post-surgical recovery, chronic pain and mobility improvement. Physical therapy is provided on-site by licensed therapists.
PrEP SERVICES
PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) is available for individuals at high risk of HIV. This daily medication reduces the chance of infection and is offered by appointment. Appointments can be made by calling (419) 372-2271.
PRIMARY CARE AND PREVENTIVE SERVICES
Our providers offer personalized, ongoing care for patients of all ages. Services include routine checkups, chronic condition management (such as asthma, diabetes and hypertension), immunizations and health screenings. Men’s and women’s health services are also available.
SPORTS MEDICINE
We treat athletic injuries, support return-to-play plans and work with BGSU Athletics to provide prevention and rehabilitation strategies for student-athletes and active individuals. Find out more about our comprehensive program.
SEXUAL HEALTH
At Falcon Health Center, we are committed to providing an environment where patients feel comfortable approaching their sexual health needs and questions. If at any time you feel as though you need to see a provider or nurse about an issue you are facing, please contact the Falcon Health Center and set up an appointment. If you have been sexually assaulted, please seek care at the Emergency Department at Wood County Hospital. If you feel you are in danger, call 911 immediately.
SPORTS PHYSICALS
Sports physicals are available for all ages and meet school and athletic participation requirements. Appointments are available year-round with seasonal walk-in clinics also offered.
TRAVEL HEALTH

URGENT CARE
For same-day, non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries, our urgent care team treats conditions such as flu, minor infections, sprains and rashes. No appointment is required and extended hours are available.
