Falcon Health Center COVID-19 Testing
Falcon Health Center offers COVID-19 testing for BGSU students, staff and the surrounding community.
If you have symptoms or were exposed to a person with confirmed COVID-19 (Click here for a list of symptoms and symptom checker) Falcon Health Center offers both in person and tele-health visits. A provider will evaluate you and determine if you should receive a COVID test.
Visit
To set up a visit via tele-health, you can call the Health Center at 419-372-2271. You will then be scheduled by registration representative for a visit. Once your appointment is set, you will receive instructions to join a secure Microsoft Teams Meeting for the visit. Those that visit with a provider through tele-health that require a COVID test will be asked to come to Falcon Health Center for the test.
For an in person visit, you can reserve a time by checking in online, call for an appointment 419-372-2271 or walk in. You will be evaluated by a FHC provider, and the test will be performed if indicated by your individual circumstances prior to leaving the Health Center. COVID testing is available during regular business hours.
Test
The test will be a nasal swab test and will be self-administered and observed by a trained clinician. Testing can be done any time during Falcon Health Center hours.
If you already have a provider’s order, bring your order or have your provide fax the order to 419-354-8624 and you can walk in Monday-Friday, 8am-7:30 pm or 9-4:30 on the weekend. Please notify one of our registration representatives that an order was faxed.
If you are a BGSU student and are symptomatic and need testing, charges will be billed to your medical insurance plan. If your plan includes a co-pay, that will be your only payment responsibility.
